ROCHLYN

When love was awake from
its lonely night,
Even before the waking bells,
The puzzles of pain were mesmerizing
it’s conscious—right-center-left-back.

It looked in the mirrors of past—wept
joyously with regrets,
Laughing in tears and wiping in fears.

And when there was no
consolation,
It went high above the
scales of not falling
again,
Sat on the wings of
singleness.
And wished, someone could tell,
The error it committed.
